Just In: Body Of Retired Missing General, Alkali Found In Jos

The body of retired missing General Alkali has been discovered in Guchwet in Shen of Jos South LGA of Plateau State.

Garrison Commander of 3 Div of the Nigerian Army and head of search and rescue operation, Brigadier General Umar Mohammad, said a parade will be held for the retired officer as an honour as well as a befitting burial for former Chief of Administration at the Nigerian Army headquarters.

He said that it was one of the suspects who reported himself last week to the police that led the Army to the abandoned well where the remains of the retired General which was earlier exhumed and reburied.

It would be recalled that the Retired Major General Idris Alkali had been declared missing since September 3, 2018, on his way from Abuja to Bauchi en route Jos
