A man meets a woman and agrees to spend the night with her for ten thousand naira. After the act, he said he‘ll ask his secretary to send a cheque to her calling the payment “rent for apartment”. Later, he decided it wasn’t worth the price. So his secretary sends a cheque for five thousand with a note: Dear madam, plea...se find a cheque for the reduced amount of five thousand for rent of your apartment. I was under the impression that: It had never been occupied; There was plenty of heat; It was small enough to make me cozy.The woman returned the cheque writing: Dear sir, I return your cheque because: I cannot understand how you expect a beautiful apartment to remain unoccupied indefinitely; There is plenty of heat, if you know how to turn it on; The apartment is of regular size; But if you don’t have enough furniture to fill it, don’t blame the land lady.
