83 - Indian yogi Prahlad Jani stuns the world as he claims he's lived for 70 years without food and water.
The Indian holy man spent a fortnight in a hospital in the western India state of Gujarat under constant surveillance from a team of 30 medics equipped with cameras and closed circuit television
During the period, he neither ate nor drank and did not go to the toilet.
Jani has since returned to his village near Ambaji in northern Gujarat where he will resume his routine of yoga and meditation.
He says that he was blessed by a goddess at a young age, which gave him special powers.Source :

The adventure is still going on . the reason he came to the hospital was not because he was ill or anything like that . its because they wanted to monitor him in a controlled environment to validate what he has claimed about himself . starving for the past 70 yrs without food or water . They kept going for 2 wks and recorded everything in video and photographs . they will be providing full details soon .
