An expatriate working for one of the multinational companies in Akwa Ibom State is currently being detained for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old girl.
It was learnt that the family of the girl that was raped choose to settle out of court in the interest of the future of the girl. The expatriate, (names withheld) who is supervising the ongoing project at Government House Uyo, the state capital, is alleged to have gone behind the wheels under the heavy influence of alcohol as early as 6.15a.m.

Alcohol is no excuse for someone to indulge in rape exercise. I think anyone who involve in such activities is either the person is brain washed or mentally sick and need his head exermine, however, the gov't should step up and make sure a rappist gets real punished

Also if a rape is commited, the police and its likes should probe the matter and make sure it was d man who rape d woman.....sometime na de woman go rape d man and dem go say na man rape d woman. Wot if d man b lye down and d woman dey ontop.....who rape who? my brodas una dey feel me na

@ donsino......... you are making a point. but come to think of it.. rape exercise started very long be4 now and d govt is also giving punihment to rapist............ why is this still in rampant...
