The official Facebook page of the U.S. embassy in Nigeria has announced that their centers in Lagos and Abujahas closed indefinitely.

The post read thus;

Quote
Due to the current U.S. government shutdown, the American Centers located in the Embassy, Abuja and Consulate General, Lagos are unfortunately closed. They will re-open once the U.S. government shutdown is resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience to our valued patrons.

This is probably a fake news from a fake US Embassy account. Check their genuine Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/usembassynigeria/photos/a.10152428114209874/10157080592134874/?type=3&theater and twitter account at https://twitter.com/USEmbassyAbuja/status/1080182425244848130 and find out the truth
