INEC Rejects Rochas Okorocha Senatorial Victory Because REC's Life Was Threatened

INEC had said that, Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha will not be joining other senator-elects to receive their certificates of return tomorrow, Tuesday March 12, 2019 because he (Okorocha) secured his mandate as Senator-Elect under duress which the law frowns at. .

INEC said only those whose names are listed on their website will be given their certificate of return and Okorocha’s name was clearly omitted with the inscription - Imo West ‘Declaration Made under duress’
