Police spokesman Rick McDonald reported that the hearttrob was arrested while in a parked vehicle early Friday morning. He was booked and then later released on a misdemeanor charge for possessing less than two ounces of marijuana.
In 2007, Crawford got the role of Nate Archibald on the CW’s Gossip Girl. Then in January 2009, he appeared in the music video of “I Will Be” of British artist/singer, Leona Lewis, playing as her boyfriend. That same year, Crawford was named “Summer’s Hottest Bachelor” by People magazine.
The actor signed on to play a lead role as a drug dealer named White Mike in the upcoming film Twelve, that is being directed by the great Joel Schumacher. The film is based on Nick McDonell;s novel entitle Twelve. The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival on January 31, 2010.
