Hadiza Balarabe who is the first democratically elected female deputy governor in Kaduna state and the first in the core Northern Nigeria, has resumed office.
However, her inauguration yesterday May 29th was met with stiff opposition by some men from Northern Nigeria who are of the belief that a woman is not meant to be allowed to occupy such an exhalted position.
She has been photographed alongside Governor Nasir El-Rufai as they resumed work today May 30th.
