Appeal Court Sacks Kano APC Lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin As Rep Member

Jibrin Abdulmumin, the All Progressives Congress lawmaker representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State has been sacked by a Court of Appeal which sat in Kaduna. .

His election was nullified following the nullification of elections in two local government areas of Kiru/Bebeji Constituency. Daily Nigerian reported that Justice Adejoje Adepoju who passed  judgement after going through the constituency's final result contained in a Form EC (8)E which was reportedly mutilated, ordered a fresh election in the constituency. .

The court of appeal judgement upturned the Kano State election petition tribunal's dismissal of the petition filed by Mr Jibrin’s contender, Aliyu Datti of the Peoples Democratic Party.
