Anthony Joshua has distanced himself from the "Feminist" narrative after revealing his stance on feminism and how he see's the idea of feminism. In an interview, when asked if he supported feminism, he said: “Am I feminist? I don’t know. I’m not really sure what that is. I am all up  for equality to a certain extent, although in the home, I do feel this is where the mother excels and the man needs to step back a bit. My family is from Nigeria and this is our culture.” He went further to cite his father as an example, here is what he said about his dad: “For example, you’d never catch my dad in the kitchen with an apron on after work doing the cooking. A woman has that mother’s touch a man doesn’t have.”
