Vetran rapper Ruggedman took to his social media page to issue a ‘safety alert,’ lamenting on the brutality of the police on innocent citizens.
Ruggedman took to Twitter late Wednesay night to allege that the Anti kidnapping Squad who allegedly attacked businesswoman, Miz Nwanneka Nkumah a few weeks ago were at a Lekki hotel “doing the same thing” other innocent citizens.
Ruggedman issued a “safety alert” to warn Nigerians that the men were out allegedly repeating the said assault on other innocent Nigerians again.
He tweeted:
“I just got a call that the same Anti kidnapping Squad that assaulted a miss Nwanneka a few weeks ago are right now on Orchid Hotel road lekki, after 2nd toll gate doing the same thing to innocent citizens.”
He added:
“SAFETY ALERT: Since these men wont protect us, let’s look out for ourselves.”

@KayTrinity They are always there, in a yellow mini danfo. They harassed me and friend in June at that same spot, extorted us and dropped us off in Marina. Our crime was that they assumed we were recording them while they were searching the car.

In a very long post, the businesswoman who was allegedly segxwally assaulted by men of the Nigerian police, wrote:
So I was going back home from work at exactly 1 am this morning and these policemen,I don’t even know what these ones are called , stopped the car I was in and asked us to open the car for a search which we did and he searched everywhere , came to where I was sitting and tried to forcefully open the middle compartment , I said “ oga use the bottom Abeg don’t force it . Then this policeman who I assumed was already high on drug or something started shouting that y must I tell him that, I was first shocked and trying to understand where the sudden shout came from and he immediately started saying, you must be mad and all the curses on his mouth.
It was 1 am in the morning, and the only thing I could do was try to reach out to my phone while he was still shouting. Immediately he saw my phone, he forcefully tried to take it from me, I quickly put the phone under my skirt and the police put his hands right under my skirt and took the phone. I tried to reach out to my other phone, he held me sooo tight and broke 1 of my nails, I started bleeding, I got down from the car and held his shirt, then 2 more came out, started dragging me everywhere .3 men on 1 woman
