@poster, from your writeup, this dude is capable of taking care of you but failed.. When it comes to situation like this you need to let him know first....probably you are a working class and he feels you are comfortable and you does'nt need his care (Money).
I also want to use this medium to let guys that are reading this piece to always put behind such attitude...irrespective of what a woman has....as far as there's a man in her life...it is the responsibility of that man to take care of his woman or someone helps.

hmmmm if truly he loves u, know that he is a stingy guy or he does not want to lavish his money on u after which u get settled with a different guy.. NOTE: most guys doesnt spend money on their gurl unless they are very sure that the relationship gonna lead both of u to the alter..cos most gurls will eat u dry and dump u when is time for marriage
