Bugatti has pulled the wraps off the final version of the Veyron supercar - the 16.4 Super Sport.
The Super Sport hit 267.91mph at Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessein test track in June, but the production model will be capped at 258mph to protect the tyres.
That's still enough to give it the title of the world's fastest production car, though.
Apart from the limited top speed, Bugatti promises that the rest of the production model will be identical to the record-breaking car.
The original Bugatti Veyron was launched in 2005 with an 8.0-litre 16-cylinder engine and 987bhp. The Super Sport has the same engine, but it now pumps out a monstrous 1,184bhp.
Larger turbochargers are responsible for the extra power and the chassis and aerodynamics have been heavily modified to cope with the additional performance.
Only 40 examples of the Veyron Super Sport will be built and they will make up the remainder of the Veyron's 300-model run.
The first five cars will be finished in orange and carbon fibre to match the record-breaking car. They will be known as the World Record Edition and all have now been sold.
Bugatti has yet to reveal an official price, but a figure of £1.4 million is rumoured.
