the rate of diesease burden in africa is becoming alarming,accessing quality and affordable healthcare has become a problem.why?lack of funds.
about 70% of payment for care is out of pocket.
the nigeria govt have put in place the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to look into the problem of health care financing.it is a social health insurance that has to do wt pooling of resources, to enable the poor, and sickly access health at a low rate of payment.
what do u think of the impact of this scheme in a country like nigeria,and what do u think are the challenges.is NHIS the magic that will solve this problem of health care financing?
