Tempted to commit sin on Sunday: People please Pray for me

Simele, you are a soul, created to glorify your God in your relationship with people. But your soul in indwelt with a spirit - a spark of Life-power of the Spirit of God. This spirit is what gives guidance and divine creativity to your soul. Now both your spirit and soul are housed in a body. Your body is not the centre of attention with God. Even though, it is His dwelling place. It is your soul that is much more of a concern to Him. "The soul that sins shall die." The spirit in you was given to always grant you the power to resist tempetations and to relate with God in prayer, praise and worship in faithfullness. Without a body you cannot be seen by us. Your body is just to carry your spirit and soul to others to see and relate with. It is not for others to misuse nor for you to operate ungodly. It is God's residence to see that all His Plan for your life are executed as plnnned from eternity. There is little any other person's prayer could do for you. Yes! 'prayer changes things.' Those are the things that are programmed towards change. You first have to programme your soul for change to make our prayers work for you. This is repentance in the Bible. Surrender your life to Christ and forget all you might have been in the church before. Tell God you are a sinner and that you cannot save yourself. Tell Him inside your soirit (He is hearing you whether you doubt it or not). Tell Him you appreciate the Work He did on the Cross for your sins. Release your soul to Him for re-branding if I may call it that way. He will simply change your soul to a new one. You will become born again. You relationship will therefore be towards Him and all Satan-sponsored friendship will depart from you when God takes His residence in you. Let me stop here.

If you ever read your Bible, and you have a reflection of societal demands concerning morals, you would never have this unbiblical frame of mind. "Shall we continue to sin, that Grace of God may abound? God forbid. How shall we, who are already dead to sin, be alive to it again.? Do you not know that as many of us as were baptised into Christ were baptised into His death? And that as He was raisen from the dead, you were also risen with him so that you may now live in newness of life. I do not feel it very fit to clutter pages here with quotations. But this one is necessary. Read Rom.6:1-4. Several Christians are still confused with the meaning of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ as well as the implications in the life of a Christian. You imagine if Jesus simply came to die for the purpose of wsshing sins then why do we need Pastors to teach? Why do we even need the Church on earth? The picture of the Church is to live the life of Christ on earth so that unbeliever would be attracted to Him through us. Will that be in segxwal immorality? Christ's death, though on the short run, is to cleanse the sins of a REPENTANT sinner, much more than this, His death infuses into the blood of the sinner, as a resuilt of the forgiveness, a divine power not to continue to sin. This is the death-blow that the Cross of Christ spiritually exerted to the power that sins in the believer. Next time when you are again tempted to sin, the new nature (born again) that made your body dead to sin (Rom.6:7,7), resists the temptation through a warning-check registered upon your conscience so that you would not find it enjoyable to sin as you did before you were born again. This is the difference between the pig and the sheep. A pig finds it natural and enjoyable to continue to wallow in the mire (sin). He is not of God (1John3:. But you are of God. "The wages of sin is death" Rom 6:23). Pleasse surrender your will, your sinful desires, as well as your intentions to the power of the Cross to kill and to scrap off in your soul so that you may have peace and freedom to serve God in newness of heart, joy and power. I hope you realise that the life you live now will definitely affect your future marrital life. I pray you will enjoy your future and not regret it. God bless you

Poster segxwal Sins are wrong and so am going to advise you to ask God to take it away from you since it is your weakness. Has for being a priest have you ask God if this is what He want of you. Learn to forgive yourself and move on. Hugs
