That action was shameful and barbaric. Why should the youths allowed themselves to be used by shameless politicians from the west. Where were they when OBJ their kinsmen contested twice ( 1999 and 2003) ? The former president has every constitutional right to contest just like president Jonathan. We should be guided by wisdom, reason and ideology. This sordid action could spell doom for the country considering especially the issue of ethnicity, religion and class. The wild wildc west is begining to gather storm. Politics is like pendulum, which swings irregularly. God is the utmost decider of faith, and if God declare IBB, nobody can stop him. We should not allowed our opponent ( the US and Europe) to define our position, unfortunately, the so called Nigerian youths have made IBB more popular and marketable. Let us all join him to campaign against poverty, unemployment and insecurity created by OBJ and his men for the past 10yrs. Somethings are better left unsaid, and history, is the voice of reason.  Kennie Thestate

Better and good, IBB is a useless man of integrity, after he killed the man of my state, Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, A man of vision and mission for the good of Nigerian. IBB is going no places in this open eyes of great country. Go and rule ur family and ur Domestic fowls at ur Village.

Quote
Irate students in Abeokuta, Ogun State yesterday disrupted a campaign rally for former military dictator Ibrahim Babangida. The students then chased away Babangida’s ragtag band of campaigners from the ancient town in the southwest state of Ogun.

The students, who are members of the National Association of Nigerian Students, mobilized from various higher institutions in the state and invaded the rally organized by supporters of the former dictator.

Correct!
