The evil that men do lives with them.  This is the case with Babangida.  It appears that IBB does not have conscience.  Instead of him to apologize to Nigerians for the mess he got this nation into, he still has the guts to continue to insult Nigerians.  Who are the people he wants to rule?  Are they not the same Nigerians he defiantly refused to appear on OPUTA panel to explain his stewardship.  IBB's arrogance and quest for power will expose him the more. Nigerians, even the world community, will get to know the kind of person he truly is.  IBB does not believe in democracy, he overthrow a military government in order to further his selfish ambition. This time around he wants to overthrow democracy.  With the military he used arms. This time he is going to use money. Because Nigeria is a country where anything goes, I bet he will buy his way back to power.  God forbid.! IBB presence in the political arena is to further compound rather than mitigate the country's challenges.  Why can't IBB be contented with the much he has milked from this nation.  Why must he seek for leadership position again?  When he ruled, he had all the power and influence. What did he do with? He should not take us back. Wasn't eight years of dictatorial leadership enough for his experiments.  Does he want to further experiment with Nigerians again?  Is he not tired of experimentation?  If he is not tired Nigerians are. Jonathan has pledged free and fair elections next years, but I doubt if there would be any free and fair elections with the likes of IBB contesting.  Nigerians must resist this power madness.  I am a believer in democracy, we should not deny anybody his right to contest for elective position.  But Nigerians we should beware of the likes of IBB.

i praised nigerian student for knowing their right and standing up to defend it.
ibb is a renowned nigeria military dictator who  contributed to the problem of lack of basic infrastrcture  we faced as a nation,
he  is one of the leader that deprive nigerian student a basic infrastructure in education sector and made our education system unstable. to my understanding,he has nothing positive to offer to our nation than to make sure he retain the position of a longest serving leader of the nation.according to nigerian constitution,he has the right to contest in any elective position of the  nation but with his track record as a bad leader,he doesn't deserve that post and must be stoped by all nigerian civil organisation if we truelly want to protect our democracy.
i believed with the manner in which the present leader mr goodluck  ebele jonathan emaged as the president of our nation and his positive contribution to the development of the nation,lets pray that he decalared his intention to run because he has the quality of a good leader but if he is no runing,pls let it be a new candidate that would emage in their political party and not ibb or atiku.

I can’t see any credible leader so far.To me personally, Jonathan’s too dull to lead a country like Nigeria. Just look at his tenure so far, there’s nothing to recall as any achievement. This is an election year, yet we can't tell the difference (no focus,no charisma, no action) people are bored with this government. GEJ if you want your name in the good books of our history, please conduct a transparent  election for Nigerians and take a bow as you have achieved a lot personally. Stop adopting Abacha tactics by using tax-payer's money to organise paid rallies. Don't be cajoled by OBJ and corrupt governors because they want to come back for second term.
