From a man's view point:

Men are visual beings, so the first point of attraction for the average man is the lady's beauty. Make no mistake, men usually develop "buyer's remorse" after getting hitched to a rather ugly woman. An ugly woman in this case would be one the guy finds unattractive after marriage. Why dated her in the first place? Men can date a woman for reasons ranging from sex to just games, but after the dust is settled, the man begins to wonder how he ended up with an ugly woman.

To majority of men, attraction is the first element of the love equation after which everything else comes to play. In a relationship that the man no longer finds the woman attractive, she would have problems understanding why the man doesn't want to talk to her - and woman usually know when the man is remorse about his choice.

'Tribal marks' is something I cannot tolerate. I would definitely not settle for any woman with a tribal mark in any form or shape. Clean face, please!

I love what I see when I look at the likes of Kate Henshaw, Stella Damasus, and loads of my other Naija sistas with pretty faces. But the ones with tribal marks? It tells me of their background! I wouldn't want to deal with illiterate in-laws.

It is easier to mold characters than beautifying a woman with tribal marks.

I admire women who marry men with tribal marks! How they can cope is beyond me!

what is inside the person is much more important than the tribal mark itself, for those that have eyes deep enough to see. perceptions are often too narrow and risky to be relied upon as realities for it limits our awareness greatly! Rejecting a person by a tribal mark is like condemning a gift because the cover was badly designed, you never got to know the real person.
