Love your neighbor as you love yourself, so says the Holy Book. If you operate your gen to ensure you get a nice sleep, you must also ensure your convenience does not crest a snare to your neighbour. This scenario will also play out in a place like the USOf A.

My brother dem no dey take light anyhow for USofA as u implied. In America light or power supply is constant  but not the same here in 9ja. i feel d police should wade in and profer a peaceful situation that will be in harmony with every party and not arresting d guy or questioning him how he gets his livelihood. Na wa fot dis land oo!

Hmmm we need 2 hear d other side of story.
One of my neighbour put on his gen anytime and d gen makes a lot of noise.we have generator house but dis guy refuse putting is gen there.even when we told him he felt we were envious of him.
But do u know that d moment he starts buying home appliances he now moved his gen to d generator house.
Meaning he knew that d noise of gen will not make him enjoy his home appliances
