What a nightmare! I am always despondent to read such news and I absolutely cannot imagine how people then get out of this situation. Just imagine that you wake up in the morning or come home after work, and your whole house is flooded with water like the entire street like all the houses in the neighborhood. This is really a disaster. It may sound cynical, but in this case, it is probably easier to lose your home than to restore it after a flood. So I decided that if I get into a similar situation, I'll call a service that will get rid of all water from your space. I'll always have their phone number in my contacts. Otherwise, I'll go crazy restoring everything with my own hands.
