A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has reacted to the formation of a new police unit called Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.
Reacting to the development on his Twitter pageon Tuesday, Reno Omokri insisted that the change of name from SARS to SWAT cannot translate to a change of attitude which is what Nigerians are demanding.
The former presidential aide compared the development to when the NEPA was changed to PHCN without any noticeable change in performance. He wrote:
