
According to the latest report by Forbes on the World’s 20 Most Valuable Soccer teams Spanish giant, Barcelona has been ranked as the most valuable soccer team for the first time in over 30-years with a value estimated to be £3.46 billion worth.
The La Liga giants pipped their La Liga arch-rivals Real Madrid (£3.45bn) to take the top spot after Madrid had at the top of the chart for 4 successive seasons, with Barca at second-place for 5-seasons.
According to Forbes, the two clubs recorded 2020 revenues of £576m and debt values at six per cent.
German giants, Bayern Munich (£3.07bn) move up one place to third from last year’s rankings while Manchester United moving to fourth with £3.06bn, according to Forbes’ latest figures.
Liverpool is now worth £2.98bn, rising above Manchester City (£2.91bn) who announced £126m losses last week.
