The nefarious and outright disregard of the financial regulations of the federal republic of Nigeria by Rev.Chris Oyakhilome, senior pastor of Christ Embassy, has drawn the attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commissiom (EFCC).
Investigation reveals that Chris Oyakhilome in cahoots with other top members of Christ Embassy Ministry (a.k.a Believers Loveword Inc) has been placed under surveillance by EFCC, for money laundering activities. Our checks reveal that the preacher was involved in strange cash movement of the sum of thirty five million dollars ($35,000,000).
Recall that when the financial dealing of Chris Oyakhilome and his ministry was x-rayed by an online magazing some years back, many die hard members and sympathizers of his ministry were quick to come to his defence, calling the report a smear campaign. However, this clampdown by government has once again a vindication of some sort.
However, this development has sent shock waves to members of the church across the world, and many of the nominal members, who were used in the money laundering scheme, are now scrambling for safe havens.
I specialize in investigative reportage across several subject matter and sectors but mainly focus on metro events and investigation. Do leave your thoughts and opinion on my reports to let me know what you think about them. Thank you

Nowadays, may people are being involve in problems related with money. Not only Rev.Chris, experience financial related difficulties. Even the U.S. is currently struggling to create a balanced spending budget, as is Ireland. Ireland, however, is trying to come back from the verge of complete financial collapse, something of which Prime Minister Cowen and Finance Minister Lenihan are reminded each day. Austerity measures drawn up by Ireland's leaders may be unpopular, but they might be just what Ireland needs. Over the next 4 years, Cowen and Lenihan would like to cut $20 billion to bring the Ireland debt problems under control, writes the BBC.

Am not a member of the Christ Embassy but I think the proper thing to do is to wait for the end of this issue before making conclusive statements...it could be one of those "Over-Hyped Media Lies" which public figures have to face from time to time. Till this moment, I have only read this news on the net...I have not seen it in the dailies; I have not heard it on NTA Network News; even the so-called "EFCC", so far, have not come out with an official statement on this issue to the best of my knowledge...I sincerely hope this is one of those lies that would die with time...

Hey, Naija pals, this report did not say the pastor stole money but that, the said amount was against the law to take such money out. Do u guys know the Naira equivelent of $35,000? Ghana's annual budget is not up to that. Let the financial crime agency handle the matter, he wil come out of it. but come to think of it. its really really out of place for such a highly placed man be cought in that type of act. May God help us.
