The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has directed immediate investigation into the viral video showing a personnel of the Corps on duty that reacted to a member of the public in such an ungentlemanly manner that was against the ethics and guidelines of patrol operations in the Corps.

The video was recorded by a passerby on the Apo legislative quarters operational route of the Corps where an Officer was seen in the video throwing a stone at the person who tried to record him while talking to a suspected road traffic offender in a White Sienna with the following registration GWA 192 EP.

As a Regulatory Agency of Government that does not harbour unethical conducts whether on patrol operations or in the office, investigation into the matter has been activated at the instance of the Corps Marshal to ascertain what transpired between the woman and the team, and those involved shall be disciplined for incivility and others where necessary, according to service regulations.

The Corps Marshal has also assured that the outcome of the investigation will be made public in due time, as he called on Nigerians to be calm and continue to support the Corps to serve them better.
