Thailand has offered to help Nigeria to generate 6,000 megawatts of electricity

Dr Ratanaporn  Dhammakosol, leading a delegation of Thai investors to Nigeria in the company of Thailand’s Ambasssador to Nigeria, stated that Thailand had the capacity and the resources  to generate thousands of megawatts to countries in need.

Apart from electricity generation, the leader of the delegation also told the  Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC),who received them on behalf of President Goodluck Jonathan  that Thailand would need expanse of lands in Nigeria to cultivate the popular Thailand rice in Nigeria, with a willing investor from Nigeria.

Dhammakosol, who said he and his team were in Nigeria to get acquainted with business opportunities available in the country, disclosed that the delegation which was the largest ever to visit Nigeria from Thailand was also  interested in areas such as manufacturing, hotel/restaurant, decoration, education, agriculture, public transport, auto parts.

Nigeria wants to live in the dark.  All this to get rice land?  How many years will this lease be?

they need land to cultivate rice in nigeria?.hmmmmmm and this job opporturnity will go to who?.nigeria umemployed citizens or their own thailand people they will bring from their country?.lord have mercy!.wat kind of useless people do we have as leaders for crying out loud out
