DPO Kidnapped By Bandits While On His Way To Resume His New Posting in Kaduna

A Divisional Police Officer (DPO) on his way to resume at his new duty post has been abducted in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State. The incident happened yesterday, June 27. It was gathered that the DPO was abducted by suspected bandits. He was on his way to Birnin Gwari to report to his duty post‎ when he was abducted at about 9am. It is not clear if the officer was traveling alone in the vehicle when he was picked up. The state police command is yet to react to this development.
