The Minister of State for Education, Hon. Goodluck Nanah Opiah, assured the public in Owerri on Saturday that the Muhammadu Buhari administration is committed to ending the strike action embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

While feeding the press on Saturday in Owerri during a reception organized by his friends, he gave a statement saying,” I can assure you that government is very concerned about the situation. Even as I speak to you now a lot of thinking, a lot of discussions and meetings are going on to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.”
