30-Yrs-Old Drug Kingpin, Abba Musa Nabbed With N25M Worth of Tramadol in Kano

Abba Musa (30) of Rijiyar Zaki Quarters was detained by Kano State police and tramadol worth N25 million was recovered.

The suspect was apprehended during an intelligence-led patrol by command operatives on Ahmadu Bello Way in Kano, according to the command’s spokesman, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa.

He stated that the guy was apprehended while driving a white Honda Accord loaded with 500 packets of tramadol.

He said, “On investigation, the suspect confessed that the car belonged to his friend, Sulaiman Danwawu (29) of the same Rijiyar Zaki Quarters, and that he (Sulaiman) directed him to handover the car to someone at Yan Kaba Quarters, Kano.

“Sulaiman was arrested and he confessed that the car belonged to him, and that he transported the tramadol from Onitsha, Anambra State, with the intent to sell it in Kano.”
