Professor Uju Anya has responded after her tweet wishing Queen Elizabeth "excruciating" death went viral.
Uju's tweets received mixed reactions. While some, including Jeff Bezos, criticised her for her tweets, many, especially citizens of various African countries and the Irish, stood with her.
Many even changed their profile photos to Uju Anya's pictures.
On Twitter and Facebook, the Irish hailed her while tweeting about being pillaged by the British Royal family.
At the moment, Uju is still trending on Twitter and Facebook.
However, she revealed that she is on the verge of losing relationships and connections because of her tweet.
She added that in spite of it all, she is "not moved with the pressure and threats coming mostly from Western Associates".
She said that her tweets have started a discourse and she encouraged everyone to engage their friends so that we can "find a strategy to achieve our dreams as African people".
"Invite more people," she added.

I believe Abacha is dead but people still jubilated and still cursed him even at the gate of hell. I don’t know this prof. Uju but there is a factual discourse, that needs to engage. Again I am not an Igbo neither I am from the SE. However, in my opinion, if the Igbos are so hated even in the country, then why the false co-existence, why the sham marriage, why not let discuss and respect every one pain, why not let the Biafra be? I think I these are some areas the British Empire scuffled. Hence, the assertions of prof. Anya.
