The Edo State Commissioner for Communications and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare, has disclosed that the security operatives have arrested one of the suspected kidnappers involved in kidnapping 32 passengers at the Igueben train station.

Nehikhare made this known during a briefing to journalists in Benin City at the Weekend.

The commissioner added that one victim escaped the kidnapper’s den.

He pledged support for security operatives to avert the recurrence of such incidents in the state.

“After 32 kidnapped persons, security operatives and local hunters swung into action, combing the bushes around the environment. One of the kidnapped victims escaped the kidnapper’s den.”

Galant officers. The Nigerian Police and the army  will risk their  lives  and
hunt them down as long as it happened in the
South but  up North  they will negotiate, beg   and  pay them .
