gradual implementation of islamisation in Nigeria. Is DSS not supposed to arrest the security man and investigate on whose order he is operating. CAN do have anything on this matter?

Poster, exactly where in her write up did she say she was forced to wear hijab?? What sort of wack reporting is this?? She got hijab to wear to go through the gate because she couldn't go back to her house to change, how is that forcing her to wear hijab?? The school has a dress code, every student and staff knows and respect that, both Muslims and Christians. You people that do controversial reporting to further cause more tension in an already tensed nation are part of the problems of Nigeria.

''This is how I dressed to school today and ABU security personnel didn’t allow me to enter the school. I sha had to look for long hijab to wear sha”.
The sleeveless was not the problem, Hijab was. So they now force everyone, even Christians to wear Hijab in the North? But in the SW, Muslims keep fighting school authorities and the Government over the refusal of Muslim girls to wear hijab to school. Why aren't they abiding by the school dress codes over there? You see Muslim, no matter how much those that practice it try to defend it, it remains a religion soaked in trouble and intolerance. They are so obsessed with domination, its sick really.

Nobody is defending Islam, trust me no human being can. Only the Almighty defends His religion and make it grow, you can ask Reno he'll tell you same. That aside, have you been to ABU?? I doubt it. I did my undergrad there. ABU is the school in Nigeria with the largest number of non Northerners in it, both as students and staff. Please go and verify that. When I say non Northerners, I mean both non Northerners of Nigerian and foreign decent, Muslims and non Muslims, working and studying together in peace for decades. That's why the school's slogan is "Naturally Ahead.. "Nobody forces anybody to wear hijab, not anywhere in the north and definitely NOT in ABU. In fact last time we checked, it is a pastor that stole Muslim kids from the north and hid them in underground building, forcing them into Christianity. Hope you've not forgotten that so soon though. Stop following media lies mate, you are only doing more harm than good

Lets not hide facts while trying to justify anything. From what the girl in question said, as you could see from this post, the problem was Hijab. She had to look for one to be granted entrance to her school. Don't tell me another story different from the one from the horses mouth. I don't need the history of ABU to understand what went on in this case. I may never have heard of the said pastor, but what I know of a certain is Muslims kidnapping hundreds of people and forcing Islam on the christian kids among them, marrying the girls by force and indoctrinating them all in the name of Jihad. LEAH SHARIBU !    ............... how do you even marry someone without the consent and knowledge of her people? marriage as recognized by God must go through the blessings of the owners of the bride, anything short of that is fornication. You guys shout haram up and down, but support it in your daily living.

Meanwhile, I know ABU as someone that has visited Zaria severally. My brother did a program at College of Leather technology CHELTECH before gaining admission into the university. I used to visit him. He lived opposite Aviation college on the way to the Kaduna expressway through to PZ market. If you are an ABU alumni, you should know by now that I have a grip of the city.

Yea sure, you definitely have been to Zaria. Though your brother was in leather research, he might have guys in ABU. You can ask him if ABU is a place where people are forced to wear hijab. It's even ridiculous to think anybody will do that in a school like ABU, with thousands of non Muslims. Dress code and dressing properly that the school insist on doesn't meaning wearing hijab, it only means dress decently. Girl only got hijab to cover up as that's the only thing she could use to cover up without going back home to change. I don't have to try and convince you man, the one at fault here is the one that went to Twitter to give half information of what happened. My colleagues and family in ABU till today, working and studying are in their tens. There's no Islamisation agenda anywhere mate, it's just a phobia the Christians have. Trust me no real Muslim has the time for that. Everyone is busy trying to make heaven mate, where's the time for tirvial things?? The Almighty is the one that takes care of His religion.

I wish everyone in your religion can adopt your mindset. You should head an enlightenment campaign. I also hope that the girl in question gave out half of the information. Phobia arises from decades of repeated negativity coming from a particular direction, be it in religion, race, social status etc. There is a reason for the phobia. You know it.

People fear what they don't understand. Have they ever even given it a thought to "hear the other side of the story" or they just believe whatever report they see online on that religion/race that's not theirs just because they don't like them?? ABU is a home to all, irrespective of religion, tribe and ethnicity. It was home to me for years. It's still home to countless number of my family and friends, working and studying, Muslims and non Muslims. Trust me, not even the slightest act of intolerance to religion and ethnicity is entertained in ABU. The biggest worship centre within the walls of ABU is a Church! Yes a church, bigger than any mosque, occupying a large expanse of land, seated in the heart of ABU just behind the North gate! Pls go and verify that. You still think they force anybody to wear hijab??

Nowadays, education is increasingly moving to an online format and students' uniforms are becoming less important. However, the fact that there is discrimination based on appearance is very bad.  In general, students today face many challenges, and academic performance is one of them. I firmly believe that academic success depends on the quality and speed of learning, and many students today face challenges in this area. Personally, I overcame this problem for myself by visualizing everything I have to learn. I make storyboards online at StoryboardThat and it has become extremely useful for me! It has literally changed my perception of the material. Maybe students here will also want to try it.
