The multi-talented artist Beyoncé breaks the Grammy record as the most-awarded artiste in Grammy history.
The award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress now holds a total of 32 Grammy Awards, surpassing the previous record-holder, conductor Georg Solti who has 31.

Beyonce’s unparalleled vocal abilities and innovative approach to music, fashion, and entertainment have earned her worldwide recognition and critical acclaim. She received awards in Best Traditional R&B Performance for ‘Plastic Off The Sofa’, Best Dance/Electronic Recording for ‘Break My Soul’, Best R&B song for ‘Cuff It’ and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for ‘Renaissance’.

Fans and music lovers alike have been in awe of Beyonce’s achievements, which include chart-topping albums, sold-out tours, and influential music videos. Her impact on the industry extends far beyond her musical accomplishments, as she is also known for her activism, philanthropy, and her commitment to empowering and uplifting women around the world.

Other notable highlights of the night include Viola Davies’ Grammy win in the Spoken Word Album category which classify her as part of the select few to become an EGOT; that is, those who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award. Elsewhere, Nigerian star Burna Boy missed out on a chance to become the most awarded Nigerian artiste, however, his colleague, Tems, picked up a Grammy in the Best Melodic Rap Performance with her feature on Future’s ‘Wait For U’ ft Drake. She becomes the first Nigerian female artiste to win the Grammy Awards.

As Beyoncé breaks Grammy record, together with her groundbreaking work as a solo artist to her impactful collaborations and contributions to music, film, and fashion, she has cemented her place as a true icon and a leading voice in the entertainment industry.
