A young boy has allegedly taken his life in because the presidential candidate of Labour Party, (LP) Peter Obi lost the ‘rigged election. The 19-year-old Plateau indigene hung himself and was discovered in an uncompleted building with his body hanging from a noose. He reportedly left a short suicide note behind in which he blamed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for his decision.
The yet-to-be identified boy said he would rather end his life now rather than live in Nigeria because there is no hope for Nigeria after Obi lost the presidential election. The note reads; “No hope for Nigeria for the next 20 years after Obi lost the election, I’d rather end it now than to live in a hell called Nigeria. I will tell God inec killed me.” Sources said the teenager was part of the people that campaigned in the sun and rain for Obi in Plateau.
