Why does bad news spread faster than goodnews?

I have come to wonder why the most popular news in the whole world are the bad ones, often times than none good news are only celebrated by few people and do not get much views on news media and social networks.

If you think am wrong about my opinion or you have some citations to support my position please respond so I can know if am right or wrong.

Enemies are in love with bad news. The only news they love most is the destructive one e.g if a new car is bought by a huzling guy, nobody care to know or give a damm of who he is but if the huzling guy is caught in armed robbery, the news will even spread to the grave of his ancestors.
