This is video captures the shocking moment 8-storey building collapsed in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos today, April 12th.

Many workers are said to be trapped under the rubble.

NEMA has released a statement saying its officials are mobilising a response team to rescue the trapped victims.

What triggered the collapse is currently unknown, but concreting was ongoing on the sixth floor before the collapse.
