In less than 24 hours, the new Governor of Kano state, Kabir Yusuf has ordered the Police and other agencies to take over state properties sold by Ganduje.
The newly sworn in governor also sacked some government officials appointed by ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
He wasted no time in implementing significant changes to the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, as he promptly relieved Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, and Muhammad Abba Danbatta of their duties as Chairman and the Executive Secretary of the board respectively.

Yusuf who is popularly known as Abba Gida-Gida has vowed to reopen the murder case against House Majority Leader, Ado Doguwa.

Recall that the immediate past Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice of the state, Musa Lawan, last week announced that the state government had resolved to drop all charges bothering on murder and arson earlier preferred against the House Leader.

Vengeful governance with disregard for due process achieves nothing positive. If anything, it'll cause you more headache down the road than you bargained for. Please sheath your sword. Let due process and investigations do their jobs first.
