The new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume has promised not to disappoint President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians.
While speaking to State House Correspondents after the ceremony, Akume promised to discharge his duties in the interest of Nigerians.

Akume served as the minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
In other news, the House of Representatives on Wednesday held a valedictory session of the 9th assembly.
Notable among those attending the session are former speakers of the house, Ghali Na’Abbas, and Patricia Etteh.
