A young man who rescued a stranded baby one year ago on the streets of Agbani in Enugu State shares her transformation.
A good Samaritan identified as Ben Kingsley Nwashara had taken to Twitter last year to share the bold step taken at saving the life of a child living on the road.
In his words, “I just picked an abandoned 2yr old baby by the roadside somewhere in Agbani, Enugu State. She was given birth to by a mad woman who normally stays at Eke Agbani. Took her to the police station and the DPO said we should take her home and clean her up and bring her back tomorrow.”
In a new post a year later, the rescued baby surfaced in one of the Good Samaritan’s posts looking well-fed and taken care of.
Kingsley while posing with the now-three-year-old girl whose birthday is coming up in a week wrote, “I’m the one doing Birthday and I’m also the one buying present . Her birthday is on Saturday 17th though.”
