Congratulations to collegiate and progressive Senator Godswill for a well-deserved election. SP should have gone to a core Igbo politician but they shot themselves in the foot again with politics of betrayal and tribal jingoism; just when they had it on the plate. Orji Kalu would have been SP had he not double-crossed his party at the polls through tactical ethnic voting which didn't go unnoticed by the party's hierarchy. Imagine his party scoring just 6,000 votes in his entire state at the presidential polls whereas he received nearly 300,000 votes for his own senatorial seat. Will they ever learn? No! The can't. It's in their DNA.
