“I Wanted Better Standard” – Rivers Gov. Says No Apology For Sending Kids To Private School

The Governor of Rivers State, Siminialayi Fubara, has said that he does not owe anyone an apology for deciding to send his children to private schools for their elementary education.

Fubara said this on Wednesday when he joined other parents at the graduation ceremony of 2023 Grade Six Class of Green Oak International School, Port Harcourt.

The Herald can report that the governor’s son, Joseph, was among the new graduands.

The governor recalled how his son pressurised him, even on his bed, until he promised to attend the graduation ceremony.

He said he was aware that he might be criticised for sending his children to private schools “but the truth remains that I wanted a better standard than what we had at that time”.

Fubara said, “This school was recommended and I can say that when I changed my children to Green Oak, I noticed a lot of improvement.

“As the only legacy you have is quality children, even if you have the whole houses in the world, have all the money, it amounts to nothing when you don’t have a worthy successor.

“What I owe them is the best and if the best is sending them to school that I believe their skills, I don’t not owe anybody apology for that. So I thank you for what your doing. Don’t lower the bar.”

True bro- of course you're a licensed thief and you did campaign to the people to become their recognized and paid up thief.
