Bello Muhammad (born 12 February 1962 or 1969), known as Bello Matawalle, is a Nigerian politician and teacher who is the minister of state-designate for Defence appointed by president Bola Tinubu. He previously served as the governor of Zamfara State from 2019 to 2023.

Mattawalle’s previous role as Governor left Zamfara state as one of the worst hit by terrorists' attacks in Nigeria.
