It is not advisable. At least the man should be older. There's this girl that I'm older than for just few months. It was hell on earth for me. Maybe some with some atom of respect could be tolerated, but for me since then I'm playing under 18.

NATURE has made it  that girls/women develop and get mature much more QUICKER than boys/men.So a man with a minimum of 5years older than his wife is likely to have a more harmonious relationship with his wife.This enables them reason and handle family issues (emotions)at the same level.

relationships between people of the same age group don't usually work because a man needs to be slightly older to match a woman's mentality and also be able to gain a bit more respect from her. women tend to grow up in the mind well quicker than men and it normally takes men a few years to catch up mentally with their female age groups. i haven't been in nigeria or in any other so-called third world countries recently to know if things are as it was when i was growing up as a teenager in nigeria but from my experiences in this part of the world i can tell you that it doesn't make much difference, especially in the case of those that are brought up religiously. most of the time it all depends on if the man is measuring up to his responsibilities as a man by going out there and providing for the family or relationship. but personally i will never advice anyone i know to engage in a relationship where the woman is older or the same age as the man.
