Nigerian actress, Mercy Aigbe has joined the list of many aggrieved Nigerians who have expressed their concerns regarding the exchange rate of the Nigerian Naira to the US Dollar and several other currencies.
Before Mercy Aigbe, another notable Nigerian, Mabel Makun, had shared a post lamenting the state of the economy in relation to the effects of the exchange rate.
Not long after, Mercy Aigbe took to her Instagram page to express her frustration, mentioning that the exchange rate is negatively impacting businesses.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Nollywood actress wrote: “Exhange Rate is killing businesses! Gosh at this point i am frustrated!”
“I have been trying to order goods since last week for many fashion store @mag divas, I kept hoping dollar will come down, but it keeps increasing. Today i had to order with tears and sadness in heart. This country is in shambles O ti sumi.”
