Liverpool will be without the services of Thiago Alcantara, Andrew Robertson and Stefan Bajcetic. All three players are long-term absentees and they will miss out here. Alexis Mac Allister is suspended after picking up five yellow cards. On the other hand, Curtis Jones is sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Liverpool are likely to shape up in their usual 4-3-3 formation, with Alisson Becker in goal. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas will start as the full-backs. The two players will look to help out in the attack and protect the central defenders. Virgil van Dijk is likely to have recovered from an illness and will start alongside Ibrahima Konate at the heart of the defence.

In the middle of the park, Wataru Endo will start as the defensive midfielder, and he will look to break up the opposition attack and protect the central defence. Ryan Gravenberch will start alongside Dominik Szoboszlai.

The two players will look to add creativity and control to the side. Finally, Darwin Nunez will lead the line for Liverpool here, with Mohamed Salah on his right and Luis Diaz on the left. So, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo miss out for Liverpool.
