A young Cotonou lady transfers aggression on the property of her landlord by destroying everything valuable over his refusal to refund her caution fee after she moved out.

A video making the rounds on social media captured the frustration of an ex-tenant who took matters into her hands after a breach of the agreement.

What is a Caution Fee?
The caution fee, according to real estate law, is the amount of money that you have to pay while renting a property. The caution fee is a percentage of your annual rent and will not be returned to you if you damage something or owe money at the end of your lease.

According to the lady in the trending video, her landlord refused to refund the caution fee at the time she moved out of his house.

Out of anger, she was seen in the video destroying significant amenities in the house, including breaking the water closet, switches, electric sockets and many more.

She further stained the room’s white wall with red oil and punched a few holes in the wall too.

Sharing the video, she captioned it, “Kindly use my caution and fix your house #cotonou229.”
