Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the renowned music artist and executive producer, known also as Puff Daddy, has broken his silence on the rape allegations and lawsuits circulating against him.
Taking to his social media, Combs addressed the accusations that first arose from Cassie Ventura weeks ago, followed by new allegations of ‘gang rape’ from another victim, Jane Doe.
Despite the earlier lawsuit from Cassie being dropped just a day after she accused him, Combs had remained silent on social media until recently.
In a statement posted on his X page (formerly known as Twitter), he declared ‘enough is enough‘ and vehemently denied the mounting allegations that, according to him, aim to tarnish his name and reputation.
Combs stated, ‘FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, I HAVE SAT SILENTLY AND WATCHED PEOPLE TRY TO ASSASSINATE MY CHARACTER, DESTROY MY REPUTATION AND MY LEGACY. SICKENING ALLEGATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE AGAINST ME BY INDIVIDUALS LOOKING FOR A QUICK PAYDAY. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE AWFUL THINGS BEING ALLEGED. I WILL FIGHT FOR MY NAME, MY FAMILY AND FOR THE TRUTH.”
