Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Temilade Openiyi, widely known as Tems, is set to make history as the first Nigerian honoree at the 2024 Billboard Women In Music Awards. Billboard recently unveiled its list of honorees for the event, where Tems will be receiving the Breakthrough Award Honor.

The Women In Music Awards, scheduled for March 6, 2024, at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, will bring together a diverse group of talented women, with Tems standing out as a trailblazer for Nigerian artists on the global stage.

In addition to Tems, other honorees include Kylie Minogue (Icon Award Honoree), Ice Spice (Hitmaker Award Honoree), Victoria Monét (Rising Star Award Honoree), and Young Miko (Impact Award Honoree).
