Tragedy struck the Buh-speaking community of Nakere in Wamba Local Government Area (LGA) of Nasarawa State as unknown gunmen attacked the area, resulting in devastating consequences.
The attack, which occurred on Wednesday, February 28th, around 9 pm, claimed the life of a prominent youth leader, Tari Moses Gbaja, popularly known as T Boy. Additionally, the assailants kidnapped a businessman, Nnamani Albert, and Tabitha Dauda Musa, the wife of the presiding pastor of Christ-Elect Revival Mission. The attackers also left several residents injured in their wake.
Efforts to obtain comments from the police regarding the incident were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report, leaving the community in shock and distress over the brazen attack and its tragic outcomes.
