A recent study has purportedly identified Ecuadorian men as having the largest penises globally, while men in Cambodia are reportedly at the opposite end of the spectrum, according to an interactive map compiled by MailOnline.
Data from the study suggests that Ecuadorian men boast an average erect length of nearly 7 inches (17.6cm), placing them at the pinnacle of the size chart. Conversely, Cambodian men are reported to have a mean size of just under 4 inches (10cm), ranking them with the smallest penises.
Surprisingly, neither the UK nor the US made it to the top ten in terms of size, with both countries falling far behind. Britain occupies the 68th spot with an average penis size of 5.2 inches (13.1cm), while America sits at 60th place with men averaging 5.4 inches (13.5cm) in length.
Australia, meanwhile, ranks 43rd with an average size of 5.7 inches (14.46cm).
The study, conducted by researchers in Germany, analyzed data from over 40 recent studies involving thousands of men. The measurements, independently verified, were extracted from nearly 90 countries.
To ensure accuracy, the researchers avoided relying on self-reported penis sizes and, in cases where individuals had a fat pad above the penis, made slight adjustments for measurements.
While the study did not find a significant correlation between penis length and height, it did note a tendency for countries with higher obesity rates to have smaller average sizes, possibly due to the distribution of fat tissue.
Among European nations, the Netherlands claimed the ninth spot with an average size of 6.2 inches, followed by France in 11th place with the same measurement, and Italy ranking 19th with an average of 6 inches.
The findings shed light on the global variation in penis sizes, providing insights into a topic that has long fascinated researchers and the public alike.
