The family of the late veteran Nollywood actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor, famously known as Mr. Ibu, has announced plans for his final rites, with the burial scheduled to take place on June 28 in his hometown of Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
According to a statement released by the late actor’s family and made available by the Burial Planning Committee Chairman, Monday Diamond Ani, the Okafor family is set to honor the memory of their beloved patriarch, who left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and liveliness.
The statement extended an invitation to the public to join them in bidding farewell to their son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and in-law on the specified date.
"Kindly join us as we share the best and last moments with our icon,” the statement concluded, expressing gratitude for the anticipated support and presence of well-wishers during the solemn occasion.
